Joao - Instructor

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), my contact with water has begun very early at the beach with my parents and brothers who taught me how to swim.

At the age of 6 I had my first swimming lessons, at the lagoon military club, where a year later I was accepted into the children’s team and started competing.

I competed until the age of 15 and during this time I participated in competitions for the military club, Flamengo regatta club and the lagoon educational center school.

My specialty has always been free style and long distance…

Massimo - Instructor

I began swimming at a very young age, and within a few years, I was competing at both regional and national levels in Italy, where I grew up. As an adult, I’ve continued to enjoy the sport, competing in masters-level open water events, typically ranging from 3 to 5 kilometres.

Currently, I teach swimming to children aged 4 to 14, as well as adults ranging from complete beginners to improvers. I also coach a swimming squad. My goal is to help people build confidence in the water and gradually develop a strong, efficient swimming technique.

Jonathan, Riverside Quarter Swim Coach

Jonathan - Instructor

My passion for swimming began at the tender age of 5. From the first moment I entered the water, I felt that I was in my element. I enjoyed swimming almost every single day throughout my youth.

When I turned 15, I began to compete professionally with the Venezuelan Federation of Water Sports, allowing me to compete in many different international events. The undisputed highlight was representing my country in Beijing at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Overall, swimming has been a theme and a passion throughout my life. I love the feeling I get from sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. This enjoyment and enthusiasm translate into fun and progressive lessons for all ages and abilities!

Lidia - Instructor

Hi, I’m Lidia. My journey with water began early—at just six months old, I was already in swimming lessons. Encouraged by my parents, water quickly became a place of joy and comfort.

While studying Physical Education at university, I started teaching swimming to children and immediately connected with their creativity and curiosity. Since then, it has become my greatest passion.

For the past five years, I’ve helped many children take their first strokes with confidence, celebrating every milestone. I aim to teach not just swimming skills, but also water safety, awareness, and respect.

My approach blends fun, safety, and education—because learning to swim should be as empowering as it is enjoyable.

Ina - Aqua Aerobics Instructor | Movement & Wellness Specialist

With over six years of experience in instructing and training both adults and children, I bring lifelong dedication to the world of sports and movement. As a certified aqua aerobics instructor based in Moldova, I specialize in creating dynamic, engaging classes that blend physical technique, performance, and joy.

My approach focuses on improving not just physical fitness, but also overall well-being. I continuously invest in upgrading my skills and knowledge to ensure each session is effective, safe, and enjoyable. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients leave a class feeling energized, confident, and satisfied.

Passionate about movement and health, I believe that exercise should be both fun and empowering. My goal is to inspire others to fall in love with staying active and to help them feel their best—both in and out of the water.
