Lessons need to be cancelled 24hrs prior to your lesson for you to be eligible to reschedule a make-up lesson. The make-up lesson will be determined on teacher availability.Make-up lessons apply to all lesson types. There will be a maximum of ONE make-up lesson per half term, except for the Spring term period where you will be allowed a maximum of TWO make-up lessons in the term. Make-up lessons need to be taken within the same term as cancellation and cannot be carried forward.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email no later than two (2) weeks prior to the start of the new term. Failure to provide timely written notice will result in your card being charged automatically for the upcoming term.
If you wish to cancel lessons for the next term, you will need to provide notification two weeks in advance of the end of the current term. As well as the email notification, could you please remove your credit card details from the payment system, to avoid accidental payments being charged.
Removing your payment information from the system does not constitute cancellation. An email notification is required, as teacher scheduling and class allocation are based solely on system records.Lessons cannot be carried forward to the following term. All lessons must be taken within the term they are paid for. Last-minute cancellations (for whatever reason) will be charged at the normal lesson rate, and you will not be entitled to a makeup lesson. (applies to all lesson types). If your cancellation relates to an illness, then a doctor’s certificate will be required to arrange a makeup lesson.Power Forever Swim’s lesson term schedule runs according to the government school term schedule. If it is your intention to take holidays outside of the government school holiday period, then this should be stated clearly from the outset of the term. Makeup lessons and rescheduling of classes will not be given for random holidays or holidays according to other school times. Check the website in the following link (https://powerforeverswim.co.uk/book-a-lesson) under Term Dates to check the updated terms.Power Forever Swim reserves the right to cancel your booking/s should significant pool closures occur as a result of an incident (health and safety or otherwise) caused by you, a guardian, or your child.If it is disclosed or determined after the term commences that you are not eligible or allowed to use the pool facilities for swim lessons, your classes will be cancelled immediately, and no refund will be given.If you do not attend a lesson, you will be fully charged. We do not accept cancellations or issue movements, refunds, credits or make-up classes for missed lessonsIf Power Forever Swim has to cancel a lesson for any reason other than a Force Majeure Event, a make-up lesson will be provided if available, or a refund for that lesson will be paid once the necessary details are provided. Please note instructor absences with cover provided do not qualify as a lesson cancellationIf Power Forever Swim has to cancel a lesson or series of lessons due to a Force Majeure Event (such as, but not limited to, acts of God, pandemics/epidemics or actions of government), credit for any cancellations that occur will be applied to your Power Forever Swim account. These credits will be available for use for any term-time or holiday courses for up to two years after the cancellation occursPayment TermsLast-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made at the last minute will be charged at the full, standard lesson rate.Missed Lessons: Clients will be charged in full for missed lessons. No refunds, credits, or makeup lessons will be issued.Makeup Lessons: Clients are entitled to one (1) makeup lesson per half term, subject to teacher availability.Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be issued for lessons canceled by Power Forever Swim for reasons other than Force Majeure Events.Health disclosure:It is your legal responsibility to disclose any pertinent medical information regarding you (adult lessons), your child (children’s lessons), or you and your baby (parent & baby lessons). This must be provided in writing via email to the relevant account manager, so the details can be included in the child’s medical notes on the Power Forever Swim database. Please note instructors and office staff will have access to these notesIndemnification:Medical Disclosure Clients must disclose all relevant medical information in writing to ensure a safe learning environment.Health & Safety Incidents Power Forever Swim reserves the right to cancel lessons without refund if health and safety incidents arise due to the actions or conditions of the client or their guardian/child.
Lateness:
If you are late to a class, the lesson will not be extended.
Supervision:
All children must have a parent or guardian present during the lesson.
Share Lessons 2/1:
If one student attends the lesson by themselves, you will be charged at the full rate for the 2 students.Equipment and Apparel:All students must wear their ‘POWER FOREVER SWIM’ caps to every lesson or they will not be allowed to swim. Special consideration will be given for size irregularity or allergic reactions.
